We strive to reduce the number of unfixed feral cats in Mountain Brook, Alabama through TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return). We will also foster caught kittens until they can be adopted out. This service is completely free for anyone who lives in Mountain Brook and functions on donations and out of pocket money.
So far, we have homed 28 kittens and fixed 13 adults, preventing hundreds of more ferals from being born in poor conditions. To the right is a few pictures of kittens that we have fostered.
What do you guys do? We will come to the location of the cats and set up traps. If you can check on the traps, great. If not, we will come routinely check them and reset them. Caught adults will be fixed within 1-2 days and rereleased at the location they were caught. Kittens will be fostered by us for a few weeks until they are ready to be adopted.
What will my donations go toward? All donations will go toward helping feral cats, most of that being vet bills and cat food. We are a registered 501c3, meaning all donations are tax deductible.
I have feral cats. How do I go about contacting you? Email us with basic information (address, situation) and we can go from there.
Who runs the non-profit? The nonprofit is owned by Elisabeth Lyman, but is ran by her son, Hunt Lyman, an 11th grader at Mountain Brook High School.
